Travel Insurance

Travel insurance can be arranged not just for one-off holiday trips but also on an annual basis to cover all holidays taken within the year. This can encompass both pleasure and business trips.

The insurance is normally subject to a maximum trip duration - often 31 days. The premium is based upon the age of the insured person, the countries to which they will be travelling (sometimes simply Europe or Worldwide) and the benefits that they require.

The insurance is normally more expensive if cover is required for Winter Sports - skiing, snowboarding and so on.

Where your household insurance provides cover for personal effects whilst away from the home (sometimes called "All Risks" cover), this aspect can be excluded from the travel insurance and the policyholder is then entitled to a discount.
